Welcome to the website of Shenshawpotoo Lodge 276 of the Order of the Arrow. The OA is Scouting’s national society of honor campers. We serve Shenandoah Area Council, which is responsible for six counties in northern Virginia and 3 counties in the panhandle of West Virginia. Please feel free to browse our website but please be aware that, due to the sensitive nature of certain material, content may be blocked to some users who are not of the correct Honor. As you can see, the webiste has changed quite a bit since the last time you accessed it. The new webmaster, Nick Solinsky, and I have been working hard to get it up to speed and ready for you to use! As you can see, a lot of content has been added. We must not forget, however, that we are bound to silence regarding our traditions. Because of this, some content has been password protected in an attempt to keep it from prying eyes. You will be able to find most passwords in your Order of the Arrow Handbook, issued to you at the end of your Ordeal. If you do not have one or have lost it, feel free to email the webmaster and he will help you. You could also go back to your troop and ask your OA representative. Think of it as a chance to prepare for your Brotherhood!

You will have also noticed that some pages are missing content. Putting together a well-working website takes time and effort, so we ask for your patience while we continue updating the website. Check back periodically and you may find information that was not there before. For example, we are working on profiles for everyone involved with lodge leadership, which will soon become available under the executive committe tab. Too often, Brothers in the lodge do not know who holds which position, much less what they look like. This will give you a chance to get to know your executive committee before you ever come to a work weekend. And this is only one of the many upgrades we have planned. The possibilities are endless!
